34th Annual- Doug Robinson 2018 Novice Champions!
Submitted By Steven Ovenden on Tuesday, November 20, 2018
On November 16-18th the Amer Sports Stirling Novice BB team travelled to Beamsville, Ontario to participate in the 34th Annual Doug Robinson Tournament.

Stirling won their opening match 12-1 vs. the St. Catherine Falcons before meeting a very strong Mount Bridges team and coming away with a 2-2 tie.  In the quarter-final game the Stirling Blues beat Mooretown Jr. Flags 6-1 before winning a hard fought Semi-Final 1-0 vs. Simcoe Warriors.

Sunday in the Finals, Stirling again faced off against Mount Bridges, but this time Stirling prevailed 3-2 to win the Novice Championship!

Zavier Phillips (goalie) was awarded Team MVP for Stirling, while Will Aikman and Ben Hunt were 1/2 in Tournament Scoring!

The coaching staff are extremely happy on how hard the players competed and represented Stirling with pride!
