If they run it we will come. Neither snow nor freezing rain could stop the Stirling Blues Bantam LL team from attending the Percy Bulldogs tournament. The players fought hard and worked together as a team to persevere and come out on top in the B Championship game. The game came down to the wire and was won in a shootout. The coaching staff are proud of the sportsmanship the players showed in all games but particularly in our last game when we played a team who had a legally blind player in their lineup. The players showed a lot of class by allowing him to be involved in the play and voting him the other teams player of the game!

The Bantam Blues Local League team travelled to Gananoque for a game on Sunday afternoon. Following the game we enjoyed dinner out together. We then travelled to Fort Fright for a Halloween get together. There were creepy clowns, zombie soldiers, mummies and goblins everywhere. We got to walk through corn mazes, war zones, crypts, and dense forests with werewolves lurking in the bushes. We were chased by crazy mimes with knives and psychos with chainsaws! We even got swallowed by a giant clown and witnessed a zombie come back to life after being put to death in the electric chair. There were many screams and lots of laughs. A great scare was had by all. Happy Halloween Everyone!

We will be holding a brief team meeting following Sunday's practice. We will be discussing our goals for the upcoming season and tournaments that we may want to register for. We hope to see you there!
